Meet the owners

Battery World Mt Barker’s Keith and Jennifer Webster are a dynamic husband and wife power duo. The couple opened their Battery World store after making a tree change from working for the SA Government and have never looked back. In 2012 Mt Barker was voted by the Battery World Network, as the best store in Australia taking out the prestigious Franchisee of the Year at the National Conference. This followed a previous win in 2009 as Best New Franchise

Keith loves all things mechanical from farm machinery to sailing boats and together with Jennifer and their daughter Sarah, who also works in the store, aim to deliver the best customer service experience they can. They have fast become a one-stop shop for Mt Barker battery needs and have made a name for themselves for their friendly approach to customers.

This Battery World team loves being able to fix people’s problems and give them a solution to their power issues and troubles. Mt Barker has a strong commitment to their local community through recycling. They happily take in your old domestic batteries for recycling from cars to AAs, along with supporting school recycling initiatives in schools from Aldgate to Jevois and Birdwood to Macclesfield. They also support fundraising for Camp Quality, Bravehearts, drought relief for farmers and autism research along with sponsorship of the Summit Trax four by four club and various exhibits at local country shows.

In 2012 Mt Barker donated the solar panels, batteries, hardware and cabling to power the cameras to catch the birth of the cheetahs at the Adelaide Zoo providing amazing insight for the zoo’s education programs.
